Maseru, Lesotho Area - Week 31

I love Maseru!! I cannot stress enough how much I love this area. The people, the culture, the kindness. It's all there. The only problem is it's COLD. Florida boy can't handle this haha. From what I hear it's only going to get worse. The main problem is that we don't have central heating in our boarding. So when we get back home at night it's just as cold as outside!! Luckily we have heaters that work somewhat well, but they burn through electricity so we don't turn them up much.

This week we tried to find more people to teach. One new thing we tried was picking a spot and walking around. We just talked to people for about an hour, learning about who they are and giving them cards with our number on it. We were able to get a few appointments from it so it worked out! Sharing the gospel is great because there are different ways to do it. President Thompson has asked us this week to focus on finding through less active members. Because of the imminent branch split, we need to make sure we have enough priesthood holders coming to church to support the Khubetsoana branch.

That's it for this week. We have 37 new missionaries coming in over the next 2 transfers so prayers have been answered. Big things coming soon.

With love,
