Umbhedula Area - Week 100
Another series of interesting events this week!
1. MLC (Mission Leadership Council) was held in Pinetown on Friday. It was my last one! It has been a cool experience to work so closely with the leaders of the mission for the last year. I said goodbye to many good friends of mine! I'll attach some pictures from the mission blog.
2. On Saturday we helped the Nene family, whom we have been teaching, to build part of their house. It started raining so we stayed inside and helped Baba install a window.
3. Walking in the rain is fun. Better than the sun at least!
4. Yesterday we helped a man who is about to have a baby to make amends with his sister. He has been scared to come to church because his sister is an active member and he has been hiding from her because he didn't inform her about the baby. We helped him to have confidence to open up to his sister. After an emotional talk, they made peace with each other and now he feels excited to come to church on Sunday! He is less active and his girlfriend is an investigator so it will be a great experience for both of them to return to church.
5. We have been preparing a YSA aged guy named Mhtokozisi for baptism. He has increased excitement for his baptism because we mention it every time we visit with him. He was so excited that during elder's quorum he raised his hand and told everyone that he is new and preparing to be baptized on the 14th of October!
Life moves forward. Until next week!
